Hot Stone Massage is a technique designed for deeply relaxing and therapeutic treatment for tired, stressed and or anxious people. This treatment uses heated smooth volcanic stones that retain a gentle warmth during treatment. The long, slow, firm strokes aid in the heat of the stones penetrating into the deep muscle layers relaxing every fibre. The heat increases blood flow in and around the muscles which enables the stiffness, knots and tension to be released, while the massage process helps to remove the toxins and waste that had formed in those affected muscles.

This form of massage uses a very light and gentle massage technique and the lymph system is just under the skin. This massage is designed to make you feel relaxed and rejuvenated with a sense of feeling lighter in the following days after the therapy.

Cupping Therapy is a an ancient Chinese therapy that uses small heated cups under vacuum that are placed on the skin. The suction that is created by the cooling cups is designed to facilitate healing through blood flow and toxin removal. Proponents of cupping therapy also believe that this form of therapy facilitates the flow of 'Qi' or 'Life Force' balancing your 'Ying' and 'Yen', the negative and the positive energies. Cupping Therapy is intended to assist with blood circulation to the area being treated, as well as relieving muscle tension and promotion of cell repair. It is believed that cupping therapy may also form new connective tissues and create new blood vessels in the tissue, benefiting your overall health.
When Cupping Therapy was first used in approximately A.D. 301, animal horns and later small glass bowls were heated to create the vacuum. Now days there is no need for heat as specialised plastic bowls with vacuum pumps are used. We only use the 'Dry Cupping' method, which means that we only use suction and there is no medicinal bleeding involved.
